All activities and trips are organised by qualified, professional staff and they promote their communication and interpersonal skills through increased language use, encouraging their interest in art, music, sport, cooperation and team building.

The summer Scheme concentrated on helping children and young people in this area make better lifestyle choices by providing more opportunities through a full summer scheme programme of events and exciting full-day trips.
Engaging them in physical activity and health-related activities/discussions will improve their gross and fine motor skills, coordination, physical fitness, health and mental wellbeing, strengthen their spatial awareness, increase their self-confidence, self-esteem, self-worth and keep them learning throughout the school break.
The summer scheme encouraged age-appropriate discussions on risk-taking behaviours and attitudes, thus allowing the foundations to be laid for the children and young people to develop healthier long-term lifestyle choices and habits.
The trips provided opportunities for new positive experiences for children / young people who do not normally have the chance to go on day trips due to financial restraints.

9-11 Years Old Youth Club
The curriculum for this age group concentrates more on active engagement through group-led sessions and activities.
For example, this age has completed a cross-community arts project and inter-club visits with another youth organisation.
The provision of youth work activities in line with the curriculum allows this age group to be fully involved in a youth-led, participating club structure that consults with their needs and develops activities based on their interests.
This allows young people to focus on issues that directly affect them in a more comfortable environment and will prepare them for more active involvement that consists of personal development rather than just a drop-in service.
12-14 Years Old Youth Club
This group will focus on active engagement through group-led sessions and activities where the YP start to take the lead roles in planning sessions.

This age has developed ownership of the youth club and volunteer in the younger age clubs, they have completed peer-leadership training and have developed confidence and self-esteem through facilitating youth-led sessions and events.
They are offered volunteering opportunities and have become Millennium volunteers this past year with working up to their 200-hour certificate.
To help develop the core principle of preparing for participation we have developed a youth forum within the organisation to include young people from all age ranges, this will allow the youth provision we provide to become more youth-centred and will promote active participation across all club ages.
